"Hello, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to give you an understanding of our Long Island Baseball Academy.
The Academy is a 10,000 square foot indoor facility located in the Smithtown/St. James area offering lessons, strength conditioning, clinics, camps, college recruitment, college showcases, and birthday parties. We also have batting cages open to the public equipped for both baseball and softball.
Our main objective at the Academy is to help the athletes of Long Island stay well trained throughout the year, thus allowing them to compete with the warm weather states. All year-round training is the key to the southern states' ability to be noticed. Too many times northern state athletes are overlooked for the simple fact that they don't have the opportunity to play all year round and be considered as polished an athlete as the southern state athletes are. Now, Long Island has the same opportunity!
Our lessons are given by minor league players, ex-major league players, college coaches, high school coaches, and current major league players and scouts! We have camps that run both during the February break and April break as well as our indoor and outdoor summer camps.
Birthday parties are a specialty and run throughout the year. We feel that your party can only be a success if we are enjoying it as much as you are. Our parties consist of two instructors and a hostess, pizza, soda, cupcakes, a surprise birthday gift, a wiffle ball game, and batting cage time. All parties must be a minimum of 15 children and run a hour and a half. Lessons and cages are available 7 days a week.
